We bought Samsung 29" TV 4 years back with in 6 months the problem started. suddenly without warning picture goes off. Even the personnel who come for the service from authorised service center agrees the model itself is a defective one. Because of this every year we are paying annual maintenance fee (after some time this total amount may exceed more the TV cost.) Added to this problem when we call for the service it takes minimum of 10-12 calls and threatening of consumer court before they attend to it.
