Hi,
I am a student of Architecture and in relation to a project which I have to do would like to find out the following information.
My understanding of the legal court system in the City of Mumbai is that there are Civil Courts and Family Courts. How are these courts placed in the city? Are they placed per unity of population, say one court for 1 million people or are they placed on some other basis. If someone could kindly enlighten me about this, I would be really grateful. I am not entirely sure as to whether this is the correct forum to raise this question, seeing the nature of the other queries, but I ask this in the spirit that this would be read by persons who are well versed with the judicial system in the city of Mumbai.
