Our building is located just behind the Shree Apartment near Amrut Nagar, (Bombay Poona Road – Mumbra). The only approach road available from our Building to main road, (Bombay Poona Highway) passing beside the Shree Apartment is now fully encroached and illegally occupied by Various hawkers & unauthorized Beef, Mutton / Fish & Chicken Vendors thereby completely blocked for the movement of pubic members & the residents of our Building and adjacent buildings located in the areas. The said approach road meant for public movement has since been encroached / occupied by the hawkers, the residents of our building and other adjacent buildings have no alternative but to forcibly adopt to cross into the compounds of other nearby buildings daily to reach main road to go to their work place and other destinations. Also there is no way left for any emergency services like Fire Brigade Ambulance, water tanker etc., These encroachers are mostly unauthorized Beef shops and Fish vendors who block the entire road from early morning to till evening causing great nuisance and serious health hazard to the public members apart from the blockage of Road who converted the entire road into a fish and mutton / beef market. Despite of several complaints made to the local civic authorities, so far no action has been taken in this regard. It is understood that some local goondas collaborated with some civic officials are playing touts by lending space on this public road to various hawkers, fish vendors etc., for lucrative amounts and doing a brisk business on this public property. Further these hawkers made our life miserable by pulling the naked electric cables to illegally connect their shops whereby various electric wires are dangling overhead, putting the lives of the public into serious dangers. I would request you or your officials to visit the place, which will give you the picture of scattered garbage of the fish and beef remains on the road creating nuisance of health hazards and the dangling electric wires. We the member / residents of the above society request your honour to kindly take an immediate action to remove these illegal hawkers and restore the above approach road for public movement.
